January 2.

Today was the last day of the kids Christmas vacation. Don't tell them but I am going to miss them going back to school.  I was going to go into work today but decided to stay home and spend the time with them.  This morning we put together a bunch of different puzzles. Some were 24 pieces all the way up to 150 pieces.  I am not at all ready to get back to the morning hussle and the after school homework.  It is pretty sad when I am the one counting down the days until they are off again from school and that is Jan. 16th. I think we are going to plan an overnighter on Jan. 15th to the Drury Inn.  I know it isn't much but I know we will have a great time.
We got some snow last night just enough to cover the ground. It is officially January cause it is cold and windy. It feels like it is 10 outside and I know it is going to get colder as the night goes on so it is extra blanky, cuddle up night.
I have been working on cleaning up all the Christmas shopping, and gift goodies that I have gotten. Sure has been interesting hunting for spots for all the goodies that I just had to have but didn't at all need. But the good thing is that it gets me excited to start in on creating. So I turn on my gypsy and start to design and figure out what I need to do. I guess the first thing is first and that is to cut out some titles for the Taylor House Resident of the Month board that I am going to start doing. Maybe I should wait until I have the board so I know how big to make the letters. Hey GREAT idea I guess I could work on some die-cuts for Elizabeth's class scrapbook that they are making. I can't quiet remember all the pics that the teacher said she has but I do know I can make some Christmas die-cuts I know she should have some of them.  It really doesn't make to much of a difference whatever die-cuts I make I know they will do something with them.
I think I am going to try to get the Christmas decorations down tomorrow afternoon while the kids are gone. I am sure it will be easier to do without their help. I don't look forward to putting up or taking down it is a task that has to be done though.
I know this is pretty boring post today but that was my life. Spending it with the kids before they head back to school tomorrow. Gonna go and make some die-cuts right now maybe I will have something to show you.
Night all
